Microsoft committed to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation
Microsoft is in the process of purchasing Activation Blizzard. Call of Duty fans are worried about this. Many people are wondering whether the game will be kept only in XX in future. However, the software giant said that not all games of Activision Blizzard, including Call of Duty, will be exclusive to Xbox. As a result, the games will be available on other platforms.
Even though the publisher's contract with Sony has expired, Microsoft has no plans to remove the games from the platforms.
Brad Smith, president of Microsoft, wrote in a blog post that under any of Sony's existing agreements with Activision, other popular activations, including Call of Duty, will be available on the PlayStation titled Blizzard. Outside of the deal, we're committed to keeping them on the PlayStation. As a result, those who like these games can keep playing the games.
We are keen to take similar initiatives in collaboration with the equally successful platform Nintendo. "We believe this will be the right thing for the gaming sector, gamers and our business," he said.
